INT. COFFEE SHOP - DAY
We see JASON, a young man in his mid-twenties, sitting alone at a table in a bustling coffee shop. He’s scrolling through his phone, looking bored and disinterested.
Suddenly, a BEAUTIFUL WOMAN in her early twenties walks in. She catches Jason’s eye and he immediately perks up.
Jason quickly gets up from his seat and approaches the woman.
JASON
(smiling)
Hi, I’m Jason. Can I buy you a coffee?
WOMAN
(surprised but intrigued)
Sure, why not?
Jason leads the woman to his table and they sit down.
JASON
So, what’s your name?
WOMAN
(laughing)
You haven’t even asked for my name yet?
JASON
(smiling)
I’m sorry, I got ahead of myself. What’s your name?
WOMAN
My name is Emily.
Jason and Emily continue to chat over coffee, laughing and getting to know each other.
JASON
So, what do you do for work?
EMILY
I’m a nurse.
JASON
Wow, that’s amazing. You must have some interesting stories.
EMILY
(laughing)
Yeah, I definitely have some stories I could tell you.
JASON
(smiling)
I’d love to hear them sometime.
EMILY
(smirking)
Maybe I’ll tell you one day.
The conversation continues for a while longer until Emily checks her phone and realizes she has to leave.
EMILY
(smiling)
It was nice meeting you, Jason.
JASON
(smiling)
It was great meeting you too, Emily. Can I get your number?
Emily writes her number down on a napkin and hands it to Jason.
EMILY
(smiling)
Text me sometime.
JASON
(smiling)
I definitely will.
Emily gets up from the table and walks out of the coffee shop. Jason watches her go, a smile on his face.
The camera fades to black as Jason picks up the napkin with Emily’s number on it, still smiling.
