Fade in:
EXT. A small village in the countryside - Day
The sun is shining brightly over a small village in the countryside. The birds are singing, and the sound of children's laughter can be heard in the distance. We see a young couple walking hand in hand down the dirt road that leads into the village.
Cut to:
INT. A small cottage - Day
The young couple enters a small cottage, where an old woman is sitting by the fireplace, knitting. The old woman looks up and smiles warmly at the couple.
Old woman: "Welcome, my children. What brings you here today?"
Young man: "We have come to ask for your blessing, grandmother. We want to get married."
Old woman: "Ah, I see. And what is your promise to each other?"
Young woman: "We promise to love and cherish each other, through good times and bad, until death do us part."
Old woman: "Very well. I give you my blessing."
Cut to:
EXT. The village square - Day
The young couple is standing in the village square, surrounded by their friends and family. The old woman is standing beside them, holding a small basket.
Old woman: "My children, take these seeds. Plant them together, and watch them grow. They will remind you of your promise to each other, and of the love that you share."
The young couple takes the basket of seeds and kisses the old woman on the cheek. They turn to each other and smile.
Cut to:
EXT. A field outside the village - Day
The young couple is standing in a field, holding hands. They plant the seeds together, and as they do, they make their promise to each other once again.
Young man: "I promise to love and cherish you, through good times and bad, until death do us part."
Young woman: "I promise to love and cherish you, through good times and bad, until death do us part."
They kiss, and as they do, the seeds begin to sprout. The young couple looks on in wonder as the plants grow taller and taller, until they tower over them.
Cut to:
EXT. The village square - Day
Years have passed, and the young couple is now old. They are sitting in the village square, surrounded by their children and grandchildren. The old woman is sitting beside them, smiling.
Old woman: "My children, look at these trees. They are a testament to your love and your promise to each other. May they continue to grow and flourish, just as your love has."
The young couple looks up at the trees, and they smile. They turn to each other and hold hands.
Young man: "I love you."
Young woman: "I love you too."
Fade out.
