Fade in:
EXT. A deserted street - Day
We see a young man, JASON, walking down the street with a letter in his hand. He looks anxious and worried.
CUT TO:
INT. A Hospital Room - Day
We see an old woman, MARY, lying on a hospital bed. She looks frail and weak. Jason enters the room and approaches her.
Jason: Grandma, I brought you a letter.
Mary: (weakly) Thank you, dear.
Jason hands her the letter. Mary opens it and starts reading.
CUT TO:
FLASHBACK
INT. Mary’s House - Day
We see Mary writing a letter to her grandson, Jason. She looks sad and emotional.
Mary (voiceover): My dear Jason, I know I don’t have much time left in this world. I want you to know how much I love you and how proud I am of the man you’ve become.
CUT TO:
INT. A Cafe - Day
We see Jason reading the letter with tears in his eyes.
CUT TO:
INT. Mary’s Hospital Room - Day
Mary: (weakly) Jason, my time has come. I want you to promise me something.
Jason: Anything, grandma.
Mary: I want you to live your life to the fullest. Don’t waste a single moment. Follow your dreams and never give up.
Jason: I promise, grandma.
Mary: (smiling) That’s all I wanted to hear.
Mary closes her eyes and takes her last breath. Jason is devastated.
CUT TO:
EXT. A Park - Day
We see Jason sitting on a bench, holding the letter in his hand. He looks at the sky and starts talking to his grandma.
Jason: (tearfully) Grandma, I miss you so much. But I promise you, I’ll make you proud. I’ll live my life to the fullest, just like you wanted me to.
CUT TO:
EXT. A Beach - Day
We see Jason standing on the beach, holding a surfboard. He looks determined and confident.
CUT TO:
EXT. A Mountain - Day
We see Jason climbing a mountain, reaching the summit and shouting with joy.
CUT TO:
EXT. A City Street - Day
We see Jason walking down the street, wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase. He looks successful and happy.
CUT TO:
EXT. Mary’s Grave - Day
We see Jason standing in front of Mary’s grave, holding the letter in his hand.
Jason: (tearfully) Grandma, I did it. I followed my dreams and never gave up. Thank you for believing in me.
Jason puts the letter on the grave and walks away.
